Overall, a low to medium gain version of a Tube Screamer. It has a solid, focused sound with a brighter tone to it. It does pick up well on nuances; however, it lacks depth of tone for me. I bought it, but replaced it within a matter of weeks with an XTS Precision Multi-Drive, which is admittedly, a much more expensive pedal (2x the cost), but based upon the tube screamer design. I've found the Sweet Honey Bee design to be a better quality pedal than this, and based upon the same design. But, compared to the Timmy, this kills it for much less money. Hope this helps! I'm a pro player in Nashville, and constantly seeking the best tone for recording, not for playing live. Take that into consideration.
Great pedal no complains. Has a great toverdrive tone. Now there is the Sweet Honey Overdrive Deluxe with more drive.

Didn't spend a lot of time with this one. Interesting concept, but I'm not exactly sure what the ideal application is for this drive. I have numerous amps, from Twins to Marshall high gainers. Tried it with most, was a little iffy on whether I liked it enough to keep it. I prefer amp drive with low gain pedals to bump them a bit. This one didn't work that well for me.
The overdrive pedal I've been looking for. Crisp, light overdriven tones to creamy blues A must have if you play different genres of music.
