Long story short, the thermal paste will do it’s job just fine once applied. I used it on my launch day PS4 in hopes of making it run quieter before I sell it. The reason behind my 4 star rating is because of the cleaning solutions that are included. Bottle #1 is essentially “Goo Gone” placed in a smaller, over priced bottle with their logo on it. I’ve seen bottle nearly twice the size at dollar stores and Target. Bottle #2 seemed to just be some alcohol again in a bottle with their logo. Would I buy it again, maybe. Just the thermal paste, yes. But the whole bundle, no. As I mentioned, the cleaners seem to be everyday household items that have been placed into different packaging to seem like they’re something special.

Arctic Silver 5 is all I use for CPU installs, this full kit comes with a very good solvent for removing old compound, absolutely liquifies factory thermal pads. The surface purifier seems to be high percentage isopropyl, de-tints the heatsink and CPU cap and leaves them looking flawless. Arctic Silver 5 itself has a very good reputation, and as far as I'm concerned, it deserves it. Micronized silver is a very good heat conductor and will not etch CPU caps like diamond compounds. A little goes a long way; 5 grams should do 4 or 5 CPUs no problem. If you haven't used Arctic Silver 5, give it a shot. There's no reason to spend more for gimmicks, smoke & mirrors.

arctic silver has been known as one of the best thermal paste producers in the market and as i can see still are today this is no bainer and when it comes to the tech industry a simple reliable solution is always appreciated although if you have the time and only want the absolute best i suggest researching further as there are better performing thermal paste brands available

Easy to use. Syringe is smaller than I expected, but I still have plenty left over. I think there's enough in the 3.5g syringe to do a few processors. Good for home users. Good idea to get the ArctiClean kit with it.
