Arrived promptly and correct spec for TomTom Go 5000. Hardest part in replacement process is to remove the old screen, including residue and odd bits of glass from the frame. (I had success using steam to soften the glue) You need strong double sided tape or a hot-glue gun to keep the new screen in place. (If they'd included a couple of strips of tape in the box it would've been 5 stars)

The screen was excellent and once fitted works well. A word of caution for anyone wishing to replace a screen on their own. I followed the instructions on U Tube. It was much harder to take my device to pieces that the video suggested. I was also dubious of using double sided tape to hold the new screen in and indeed it fell out on my first journey. I have now glued it in and am hopeful of success.

This product is excellent. Self fit required practical skills beyond many. Use of a heat gun required, I used a hair drier! Opening the case was not easy, with hind site warming the case would have helped.

This is a good replacement screen, no complaints with it but it isn't supplied with the adhesive tape to attach it to the frame of the satnav. I used a thin, double sided tape but then refitting the screen involves pushing the plastic bezel it is mounted in, onto the back of the satnav and the pressure required to do this simply cracks the new screen again! Save your time an money and get a replacement unit!

Almost perfect for fixing a damaged TomTom Go 500 digitiser screen (outer screen cracked when dropped). Only very minor problem is that it doesn’t come with sticky tape to seal to the unit, otherwise it worked perfectly with a small amount of glueing. Note the rear of the screen does have a protective sticker that needs removing - something that was fairly difficult as no edge to get hold of to remove this.

The item was exactly what it was said to be: a complete replacement TomTom touch screen assembly. Brand new and with all anti-scratch films in place. After looking at the video that the seller links to it was easy to do the repair myself. The hint about using warm air to soften the glue on the old part was appreciated. Just make sure that you have a decent glue ready to apply as the replacement screen does not have any pre-applied.

The part was exactly what I needed. Had a little difficulty removing the old (broken/shattered) screen. But the new one fit and works perfectly.

The most difficult part in changing the glass is removing the old broken one. YouTube is good but it’s not as easy as it looks. A new sticky tape would have helped to fix the glass back in place. Double sided tape is a must if the existing glue is damaged on removal of old glass.

Generally easy to replace but make sure that no pieces of old glass remain in the frame before fitting the new glass (i missed a tiny piece of glass and cracked screen in attempt 1 when pressed into frame). Cleaned edge of frame with a blade before second fitting and put v small amount of silicone sealant To hold glass. Take off the inner glass protector before putting in place in frame. All works ok

Screen fits the Go 6100 and works fine. However the screen is made of plastic not glass, for that reason you loose HD quality. But for the price I paid it was well worth it to make my TomTom work again.
