    I did get what I paid for. Unfortunatily I did not read the full description the fact that it is purely decorative and light weight plastic did not meet my expactions. Since its my mistake I am giving positive feedback as I did receive exactly what I was sold. I for the the same price was able to source a metal fan mod that came with all metal large hex cutouts and a beautiful support plate made out of aluminum with all the hardware . It arrived the next day.

    LOW RESTRICTION AND REALLY GOOD LOOKS

    This is an excellent quality grill which should fit standard fan/rad mounting with no modifications. The plastic is fairly thick - about 3mm - and should be plenty strong against any reasonable intrusion without breaking. It won't stop a pencil, as the hexagons are about 10mm flat to flat, but will stop smashing type stuff. Really looks good in gloss jet black plastic when lit from behind. Airflow reduction through this would be negligible. I used it to replace the air filter provided for the top of my case, as, there was no need for the flow reduction in the outflow airstream. I wish case manufacturers would provide a less restrictive top panel "filter" as in most instances this is the air outlet and there is no need to filter outlet air. For my application 1.5mm - 2mm would have been a ...

    Great Radiator Protector

    I got this to put on outside of my radiator to protect the fins from being bent. The fit and finish is great, seems sturdy, and looks great. It is a high gloss black plastic of some sort with a hexagon pattern. If you are looking to shield your fans/radiator, this will work! I don't think it impedes airflow that much, but if you have weaker fans, that may be an issue. I am running 3000 rpm Noctua fans, so no problem for me.

    Perfect Radiator Protector :) Room for improvement though.

    Keeps my RAD from dings and bumps as I am constantly fooling with my PC's inners. I do spend a lot of time with a small file on the honeycomb of this item for better air flow. It would be a 10 star item if it was made like this. Still a great product

    Good quality...but slightly overpriced

    I replaced my windowed front panel with this...I think it's decent considering before I was just using a mesh screen taken from a window haha...but I would never think of paying this much for one again. Maybe I think, if it were metal.
