Barbie joins up with six of her friends to play nine mini-games, including classics like checkers and tic-tac-toe, as well as "groovy" takes on concentration, matching, arcade shooting, and word games. Playing solo or with two people on the same machine, players can select Becky, Christie, Kayla, Ken, Lea, or Teresa in addition to the titled hostess.<br><br>Featuring three levels of difficulty, games are played in a variety of locales, ranging from the beach, hair salon, and ice-cream parlor to a dance studio, record shop, and jewelry store. Play word games at the toy store (guess letters of a secret word), create the longest conga line at the dance studio, or go for 10,000 points by matching the dance beat at the disco. Other activities include matching gems and jewels in rows of four horizontally, vertically or diagonally, shooting bubbles, stacking scoops of ice cream, and matching CDs to their cases.

    BARBIE GAMES ARE FUN FOR EVEN FOR MOM!

    I purchased this game for my daughter, but played it myself to see if it was suitable for her. Aside from enjoying the games myself, I really enjoyed how each game has different difficulty levels and choices to make the games more interesting. A player can choose which characters play each other such as Barbie vs Teresa, for example. Also, the instructions for how to play each game are crystal clear (as long as the player can read). This is great if the manual is lost, which inevitably happens with children. Navigating the games is easy - my daughter instantly played games without reading instructions. Although the player does not have to be an Einstein to play, the games do require thought and strategy to win. Obviously, these games aren't for everyone, but for those who love Barbie, the ...

    Barbie Groovy Games for Game Boy Advance SP

    This game has several individual games on one cartridge. It is simple enough for a 5 year old to play. My kids love this game. We originally have it on our PS 2, and since the kids were receiving GBA SP for Christmas, I decided to look for this game. It is great and will keep kids occupied for hours at a time.

    Another great Barbie game!

    This game is so much fun, my 6 year old granddaughter loves it! It has some very challenging games that makes children use their minds. I am really glad I made this purchase at such a great price and it was almost new.

    Great simple game

    Game is easy with basic games like tic-tac-toe on it. Very easy for that beginner gamer. Mostly geared towards girls, this has also been used by boys.
