I can't say much about the fibre quality as I haven't previously purchased raw tussah, but the photo under represents the product. FYI rigid heddle weavers: It's strong, free of large slubs and fairly consistent, but the texture might problematic as a warp. Good weft though, especially for art weaving, homewares and decor items. Minimal VM but noticeable dust present. Advise to wash or mask up when opening skein.
