Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Reciprocating Saws
I purchased the 36 volt Makita reciprocator saw and immediately put it to work after just a few uses it broke, don't get me wrong everyone including me were impressed by the power of the tool it worked like a champ at first and I have used many cordless power tools in my years but only after 30 minutes of use the push button switch broke or shorted out, I would press the button and it made a very week humming sound. That sounds to me like a short in the button or speed control in some occasions it worked no problem and other times IT DID NOTHING So I went out and bought me the 18 volt single battery Makita sawzall it works great no problems yet and it's light weight that's a plus.

Ton of power, little heavier than the brush models. Great tool and it should last forca while. Built like a tank. Makita lives on!

Great saw for many jobs- I got this one for rough shop work, and keeping my Stihl out of the dirt while trimming brush. Vibration doesn't seem to be as bad on this compared to an older Makita I use at work. I think this one may be heavier.
