ROUTE 66 is a classic American TV series that only gets better with time. The first season alone boasts appearances by Lee Marvin, Leslie Nielsen, and E.G. Marshal as well as tough, thought provoking storylines penned by Academy Award-winner Sterling Silliphant. The series follows the experiences of the poor boy/rich boy duo of Buzz and Todd as they hit the road in the 1960s' spirit of self-discovery. While everyone can whistle the Nelson Riddle tune about "getting their kicks," this show has much more to offer than trivial pop-culture references.

      This is the show all the stars wanted to be in!

      For Boomers, it's nice sometimes to get back to the good-old-days TV series'. Dated? Sure, but a nice, easy watch.

      If you love the old cars you might really enjoy this but they are black and white. I bought it because I used to own a 61 corvette convertible

      Route 66 S1 V2

      I watched this show all the time. The 60's was my era with Route 66, Muscle Cars, Jeep CJ5 Willys. Shows in that era were simple to watch and understand. Since my brother had a 63 Coupe and later a 65 conv and we also traveled around Indiana, I can really identify with Route 66. I guess it's a nostalgia thingie for me. Can't wait for S2 to release.
