    NOTE: Before you say its defective take to note that: - Your HDD must be 2.5inch - Must not have a partion already as the letter of the drive may interfere with the your boot drive letter - If you have a new HDD that isnt partioned go to control panel system and security administrative tools Computer management Disk management and you will be asked to initialize disk and go through that process AND THEN create a partion on that HDD Works great btw!!!
