The oem mini mount is awful and doesn't last, these mounts do & are made exceptionally well, allowing for rebuilding if you're inclined to do (which i love, because i want to keep my mini for a long time & want to ensure i can fix the parts on it for years to come). It's obviously a bit more vibration through the car, but it's very small & well worth the trade off for how sturdy & long lasting it is (i have the trans mount too).
