A fine purchase!
Rather advanced for such a radio, affordable, too. Range in my area, 17km with the external multiband antennas. Observed SWR is less than 2:1 across the frequency bands available. Its small size allows roof mointing in my truck without head banging into it. Volume is hearable even with mud/snow all terrain tyres on dry pavement. The radio takes the 14 volt charge my alternator puts out so far. No road static observed so far, but does get crossband signals when very close to other service transmitters. Not much of a problem except when in big cities. All in all, a good purchase to be pleased with. And dealing with a great Seller, too! Arrived on time, undamaged, and worked right out of the box.
