The first one showed no signs of deterioration and it’s the only adaptor I’ve bought that maintains the original sound fidelity and retains the original source sound level. Cheaper units reduce the sound fidelity and volume and you end up with a second rate experience. It’s well worth the extra cash to buy this unit. Extremely satisfied.
