Overall these phones are great but they do have some issues, like no audible warning that the batteries are nearly flat and the rechargeable batteries Panasonic supply are only 400mAh, which is quite poor. Fortunately they are just Ni-MH AA so it's easy to replace them with some better ones. Our identical previous phones had 2 handsets fail after some years. One always showed busy on screen, and the other lost registration and wouldn't re-register to the base. Their previous model was better.

Some useful improvements, but not much better than previous models.
Poor instructions - badly written. I had to go to the internet to get better instructions. The Panasonic Help site is useless. The Instruction book is not useful. Too much detail about some aspects of the phone and not enough about basic things. For example, just setting the time. I set the time to WA time and it constantly reverts to EST. I had to Google the problem to find a solution. Quite disappointed.Poor instructions - badly written. I had to go to the internet to get better instructions. The Panasonic Help site is useless. A fully functioning Cordless Phone
What I like is the large display and the ability to easily read the calling number. Everything works as it should. Setup wasn't completely intuitive, but no worse than any other cordless phone I have used. One annoying minor issue is that when you put the phone in its cradle, you have to look at the unlit display to see the word "charging" to check that it is charging. (Every other cordless phone we've had would sometime not connect up properly in the cradle and therefore not charge. So we have developed the habit of checking that the phone is actually charging each time we put it back in the cradle. Other phones have had an easily seen indicator to indicate charging.)What I like is the large display and the ability to easily read the calling number. Everything works as it should. Love hands free on each handset love phone reading out the contact name or number of incoming calls love having a charging station for each phone love 3 handsets (NBN only allows one phone jack) love to leave the handsets charging as overcharge is not a problem Wish the volume of the phone could go a little higher
