The fitment is designed this way to enable a correct and full seal between the surfaces. If the PTFE gaskets are made flat like the standard gaskets, they will not work. I have tried to explain this to the customer, but he has just sent derogatory remarks back, and does not wish to learn or listen to the assistance I am offering him.
