    About this product

    Product Information

    Like many poets, Bill Gillman put pen to paper purely for his own entertainment and that of his nearest and dearest. However, his daughter and her sons believed that his work would and should be enjoyed by a much larger audience. As a result, in 2005, Grandad's Poems was printed. The positive response to that volume prompted Bill to publish a second collection. As before there were humorous verses, mostly about Bill's family and their exploits, coupled with his observations and thoughts on modern life and society (both good and bad). This is now Bill's sixth collection of verse. Here, with his familiar mix of fun and fancy, he has created a world crowded with entertaining animal characters.
