The part was as described but had no facility to lock into the part of the Dyson DC08 which I have as I expected. It fitted, but did not lock into place, hence it was loose and kept slipping off. I was disappointed with the item for that reason. I need to modify it with a friction type spring to hold it in place to prevent it slipping off. I haven't contacted the seller and have no intention of doing so., as it will incur the expense of returning the item, which will only add to the cost.
