The gorgeous solid figurative oak commode chest of drawers with ebony banding bronze ring pull handles and ornate Louis XVI bronze escutcheons.Made in the traditional manner of the 18th century this large size chest comes apart into three sections for easy moving.The top secion with three drawers featuring a shallow top drawer, a fold down centre drawer with fitted interior with ornate satinwood drawers for the more valuable toys, locks with a steel key.This section sits on top of the lower two drawer chest and in turn sits on a taper leg base with shaped apron and ebony scroll inlay.Original locks to drawers.Superb quality patina and very desirable rare blonde oak finish.”
