    A rollicking, funny, entertaining version of a classic!

    I first saw this movie on tv in Canada when I lived there and fell in love with it. I love Gilbert and Sullivan's operettas and Pirates of Penzance is my absolute favourite! This tongue in cheek version sticks faithfully to the original story with a few very entertaining additions....the underwater treasure hunt is sooooooo cute !! A fun, musical family movie where you can sing along to your favourite G & S songs!!

    A little known classic

    This is just really good old fashioned family fun. It is totally retro (some may say dated) but I remember loving it as a kid and my children have fallen for it in the same way. It may not match modern movies for special effects and violence but for pure fun, humour and escapism it's unbeatable.
