This is NOT what was ordered. what was ordered was a gas strut for a Ranger 2018, what has been supplied is a gas strut for a canopy NOT a Ranger Tail Gate these are two different things. This item is unusable, NOT as described, and is totally useless for the actual purpose of assisting in lowering and lift the tailgate.

I purchased a 'Name Brand' one 2 years ago and it was NOT made like the one I just recieved ! The name brand one had 3 faults: 1) pressure release hole in neck going back to the base was not there it was blocked, 2) inside neck on bottom seal circular ring? was not formed correctly and 3) top of neck out of shape so it couldn't seal flush. I am SO HAPPY this is in PERFECT condition AND the correct (quality) cap ! So thankyou very much.
