    Dry, patchy, all around awful

    For starters, this was very very dry. By dry I do not mean it dried out my lips but the product itself was dry and I had to practically smash it on my lips to get it to apply. I did not glide on or apply evenly by any means. It also was not very opaque. This also was not even remotely the color you would imagine it to do. I thought it would be a rich dark purple, very near to a black considering it was the darkest in the collection; it was not. In summary: dry, oddly sheer, patchy effect in the wrong color. I would recommend buying Revlon's Matte Lipstick in Wine Not, which is a similar color to how this comes out and is more opaque, applies very easily and evenly even though I've had it forever.
