    Seem to be of excellent quality, but details missing...

    The product appears to be of excellent quality, but I had to search high and low looking for the detailed design specs such as the bolt threaded length, the thread pitch, the bolt diameter, the hex head size and the flange size. These details should be on the vendor site so that these magnetic plugs can be used for machines other than cars and motorcycles. In my case, a Predator 9500 Inverter Generator and it fit quite well although the flange diameter is 1-mm larger which means slightly less crush force on the 22mm alum washer.

    Catching the Tiny Bits.

    The oil plug helps capture those elusive bits of metal that could continue to cirulate throught the motor. While it will not work on non-ferrious metals, it will still capture other metals that could cause harm.
