The shifter adaptor fixes the issue of the G29 shifter missing the R (Reverse gear), which I thought was 100% mechanical due to wear and tear. No more missing reverse gear 100% shifts every time, I have no idea how it fixes it but it WORKS! If you have this issue it's money-saving in long term, highly recommend it instead of buying another G29 shifter!
