I should state that while researching possible issues I came across and am now curious why the description doesn't state that any cartridges that have an "I" next to the number are only to be used with a printer for first time or else they will be inoperable. That system is more commonly associated with Canon printers, where certain cartridges are factory-installed starter versions and cannot be reused. Epson cartridges, on the other hand, should be usable as long as they are new, compatible, and the chip is properly recognized by the printer.
