    Reading the sleeve notes to see where the ideas for the songs came from gives a better understanding for what made him write or pick each track.

    I had not bought a Rod Stewart album for some time. being a fan of his older work I really did not know what to expect. Now I've got it I can't stop myself from listening to it. It is one of my all-time favourites.

    First time thumbs down for Rod Stewart

    I have followed Rod Stewart since he started out I have bought all his CDs his time CD was really good perfect in my eyes but the blood and roses has to be one of the worst CDs I’ve ever listen to that is just my opinion somebody else may rate it highly but I wish I hadn’t bought it
