In these moving memoirs, Mario Kreutzberger, better known by his stage name as Don Francisco, tells the story of his extraordinary career as one of the most influential people on television in Chile, Latin America, and for the US Hispanic community, where he interviewed from the most underprivileged to the most powerful, always with his intention of breaking down borders and opening minds. Son of Jewish refugee parents, Mario proudly became the creator and host of the longest-running television program in history, where he became known as Don Francisco . His meetings with unusual personalities, his conversations with George Bush, Barack Obama, and Michelle Bachelet, among other leaders, his visit to South Africa to learn about Mandela's legacy, as well as other stories and experiences throughout his life are what shaped these memoirs.
