This is the only SATA/IDE to USB adapter I could find which officially supports Optical Disk Drives along with 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs. It comes with the power adapter and has a built in power switch. Well made, works like a charm. The manufacturer even provides an extended warranty if registered for a total of 3 years.
