the 5 stars are based on the cheap price I don't know much about these things. The speaker is very loud. The instructions are terrible. for some reason the a or top band is showing the transmit/receive numbers but not working. the b works fine- with a ghost antenna screwed directly to it receives what my uv5r will but without the static bursts in between.
