It has nasty plastic smell for the first few times using it, however, the smell was not inside the cooker so the rice was fine. After those trials, it start working nicely without any weird odor. The timer is very useful, I found myself used timer functions more often than I expected. So far I’m only using it for cooking medium grain rice and I’m very happy with the result. The cooker is quite compact makes it ideal for small kitchen like mine :)
