    good for the money.

    Hook up easy, It seemed to not be able to handle streaming video or movies without buffering every 5-8 seconds. The one supplied with Xfinity worked fine but was larger in physical size.

    Waste of money!!

    Cannot be used on Xfinity system because it's an Xfinity branded modem. IT cannot connect it. Suggested using an unbranded modem instead.

    Dump Comcast modem, get your own

    As advertised. I purchased this to replace a Comcast rental modem—they were charging $15/month. I looked up compatibility on the Comcast website, bought this modem, called Comcast to set it up and it all worked smoothly and easily. It’ll pay for itself in four months. Don’t let Comcast bleed you dry.

    Xfinity replacement

    I was surprised that it actually worked. I purchased the modem to replace the one I rented for over 2 years. I don’t want to think about how many of these i bought in that time frame. I called xfinity and set it up. No problems. It’s worth purchasing.
