Good - Compact unit, good filter with high volume, cheap & robust, longevity, easy to clean Downside - After prolonged use power head unit can be difficult to separate from backing, cost of replacement filter media, power cord can abrade where it enters power head

Suction cups useless!
The filter is hard to clean and replace. The suction cups do not hold onto the glass, I had to wire the filter into place. Very disappointed in this product.

it works,
one problem is the power lead, where it enters the plastic case, the cable bends and breaks the power cable, the cable requires reinforcement, I filled the gap with silicon where the cable enters the pump casing. no more problem, with the one in use, the new one I have just bought will be done as well, before use.
