      The Fury Of S.H.I.E.L.D.

      These original S.H.I.E.L.D. stories were one of the best examples of the Sixties Spy Craze, the peak period of Secret Agent movies, TV shows, books and comics. Along with the stories that immediately follow these (as done by Jim Steranko) the Nick Fury strip reached its peak early on. Later incarnations and revivals of this feature never touched the creativity of that first decade.
