    New Guitar - first time user of nylon strings, but like them a lot.

    A personal choice, but I like D'addario strings in general and always them on my steel acoustic and electric guitars. Just acquired a Spanish classical guitar (new experience for me!) so I started experimenting with strings. I like these a lot as they have a much more familiar feel - I started with medium EJ27 strings which were a bit "loose" for me? - and a nicer tone. My teacher approves too...

    Be aware of Counterfeit strings from Asia.

    Very good quality counterfeit strings which look alike original but easy to check on D'Addario web site "play real"if yours are original. Original one are super bright sound and last really long.

    D'Addario'l do for me.

    I have been using Pro Arte strings for years now and although I have tried other strings I always come back to these. My 3 classical guitars, a Godin and 2 Yamaha's are all strung with Pro Arte. They are clear and have a bell like tone and stay in perfect tune once stretched. They are also great for jazz and Latin music and respond well to all genres.

    Dull sounding, worst ever used.

    Having used D'addario strings on my electro-acoustic , I was looking forward to hearing the best out of my Raimundo Classical Guitar. Sadly, I have never (in 30years!) heard such a negative transformation. It sounds DEAD, DULL, and has NO REAL SUSTAIN. It sounds like a really cheap guitar, not the quality instrument that it is... IFTHIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO? PLEASE STOP SELLING CLASSICAL GUITAR STRINGS!
