    My meter worked. Solid construction, long cords and easy to use. No complaints.

    When I first got it, I tried it on a very suspect battery I was currently having trouble with; the reason I got the meter. The meter said it was good (?) That had me confused. I thought right off the meter was a sham. BUT, I eventually went into the city (a drive in winter) and had the battery tested officially at a very reputable battery outlet with their fancy equipment. He did everything, including opening up this "sealed" battery and tested the solution. All tests came up positive. He said the battery was good; just needed a good charging. My meter was correct. That threw me. I asked what the problem was and he mentioned that sometimes batteries are not given a PROPER initial charge at the factory or are left sitting somewhere and are then shipped out with a "new" date sticker on it. ...

    Not what I expected it to be.

    The unit is not what I expected. It re-charges via USB plug-in rather than directly from 120v. So you have to have a 120 V adapter and cable handy to recharge. The clips that connect it to the battery must be removed from the unit when not in use. It will be a matter of time before the two pieces are not together when you need them. The flashlight and phone charging functions are not of value to me. All in all, I would not buy this unit if I had it to do over again

    Using it frequently, works well

    I use this to monitor my SUV's battery while camping with a 12-volt refrigerator running constantly. It is handy, easy to use, and easy to read. Better than a traditional multimeter for monitoring auto battery's condition.
