Even with 5V 2A and 12V 2A Power Adapter there is not enough power and is not seen by laptop. It may need more power from 5V + 12V Switching PWR Supply or a specific USB Interface Board.

I seem to be having motherboard issues with my ps3 slim so I googled that and a few solutions came up including reformatting the hard drive and then the least likely and overlooked solution was to simply change the button battery of the motherboard as it supports the CMOS module and suggests doing so would fix my black screen of death, I am yet to test that theory.
