A bait and tackle shop located near the rocky shores of Lake Erie, of all things named, Happy Hooker's. After years of suffering in a heartless marriage, followed by a bitter divorce, Gladys' love life did more than sink. It sank to the bottom of the lake and stayed buried in its dreary depths of isolation. Gladys still kept her spirits high. This bubbly, out going, high school librarian, with a flare for cooking, quickly finds herself being swept away by Hank Thompson, an avid fisherman, and co-owner of his family's business, Henry's Frozen Foods and Market. Her chance meeting with Hank, soon rekindled her broken and bruised heart. The man with stunning glacier blue eyes and lips beckoning to be kissed hooks Gladys into a bouncy, fun filled ride to romance. As the couple floats along their life of discovery, they hit a few 'snags in the line' as their relationship grows. Cast a line and paddle along into their love affair, and enjoy a romantic comedy of twists and turns as Gladys and Hank set sail for a romance bound for happiness.
