Product Information

Global Star Software continues their Search & Rescue series with Search & Rescue 4 (previously titled Search & Rescue: Coastal Heroes). Players respond to emergency calls in a helicopter, sometimes rescuing people drowning in the frigid waters of winter seas, sometimes helping people trapped on a lake during a fierce thunderstorm. The game engine of earlier Search & Rescue games has been significantly changed to incorporate a new 3D engine, lighting effects, wave graphics, and a simulated environment full of busy virtual people. Players will make mid-mission decisions, alter rescue plans, and choose from the available equipment. Three helicopters -- the HH-65A Dauphin, the Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King, and the BK-117 C-1 -- are selectable, each with realistic cockpit controls, landing gear, spotlights, divers, and hoist lines. Gameplay modes include career mode, random maps, and customizable missions.

    flight training game

    the has fair graphics not the best i seem but good enought to play but it dose make you feel like you are sometime realy flying but its tough to learn and fun at the same time

    Hard to control.

    Great, If you are a fan of ultra real simulators

    It's an old game so the graphics are what you can expect from an early 2000's pc game. Would recommend a controller or joystick as it makes the gameplay a lot more fun. The game itself has a lot to offer in both career mode and free flight. The menus were a bit of a chore to navigate but thats probably due to my system not the game. For the price it's a lot of bang for your buck.
