David Tennent returns for another successful stint as the title character of DOCTOR WHO in this third series of the BBC's thoroughly modern updating of the classic sci-fi character. Sadly, the Doctor's former assistant Rose (Billie Piper) doesn't return, but he is joined by a new accomplice, Martha (Freema Agyeman), for this run of episodes. Among the highlights in the 13 installments featured here (one of which is the acclaimed Christmas special, The Runaway Bride) are the return of the Doctor's arch nemesis, the Daleks; a trip to the moon; a journey aboard a space craft heading towards the sun; and a jaunt back to Elizabethan London. Each show contains the usual heady mix of wit and fear, and the series builds to a tense climax as another formidable foe from the Doctor's past, the Master, makes an appearance.

    One of the better series of Dr Who

    Donna Noble rejoins the Doctor for this last series of David Tennant. I think she makes an excellent companion for him. This series is one of the better ones in my opinion as it has stories with more depth to them. "Silence of the Library" has got to be one of my all time favorite episodes, as is the unusual "Midnight" in which we see the Doctor like we have never seen him before. Even the Doctor Who Confidential is a better one than most. I recommend this DVD wholeheartedly!

    Not new

    Ordered 3 seasons of Dr who all listed as Brand New, well in reality they are used and just resealed. The cases were missing there covers and the cases them selves showed wear from being opened and closed. Then some disks have very minor scratches normally wouldn't mind but when you pay for Brand New unopened you don't expect worn cases and scratched DVDs. This is obviously used, and should of been listed as so.

    Dr Who season 3 was special
