    Exactly what you would expect from a good tape

    Well made as you would expect from a Stanley product Easy to use and with the tape lock can measure quite a distance single handed After using bargain basement tapes this is so much better It is to do with the breadth of the tape Tradesmen all use them Definitely a good buy

    Both broke after just over week

    I'm a stone mason who looks after hs tools really well. Both tapes completely broke after a week the 8m and 5m broke from a 3 ft fall onto uncompressed loose hardcore, so nothing very hard. Its completely cracked all the way around before bursting when picked up same issue with the 5m to. Also the 5m started getting jammed after 3 days use in a relatively clean environment. Used to love stanley tapes but quality has gone down to budget supermarket value. Definitely advice spending abit more on better quality like I'm going to have to. I'll never use Stanley products again what a waste of 10 pound.

    Looks the part.

    This tape appears to be well made , and is compact for its spec'n. Time will tell if it lasts any better that cheaper competitors. I also like the partial rubber 'jacket'.
