    Cable box works but NOT in NY

    Working FIOS cable box, only problem is that it will NOT work in the New York area. The tuner card inside is for a different region of the US so you must first go into your FIOS store and get them to activate the box which will then add it to your account for a monthly fee. All this effort negates the purpose of buying a box on line for a "one time purchase".

    Not plug and play

    Set top works and powers on no problem. Does not work for my region as the m-card is not coded for my region. Verizon controls this because you have to get a m-card and have it activated in your set top box, which is cheaper per month but still monitored and owned by Verizon.

    Dont be fooled into thinking it will work.

    Its a hoax. No good got duped. There’s no way it could be activated with verizon.
