    Excellent Movie but Heartbreaking

    This is an excellent movie- well-scripted, well-acted- brutally honest, raw, and heartbreaking. There were a couple of scenes that caused me to just stop the movie, walk away, and process what I'd seen. I forced myself to finish the movie the next day. I needed to know how it "ended." I hope Jena Malone, that precious child, had extensive counseling to help her deal with some of those violent scenes. Difficult to watch, but it's not a movie you will forget.

    Disturbing, but this stuff does happen

    This is a very disturbing movie. It's about child abuse with no real payback for the boyfriend..There were many opportunities to deal with the guy and he does get beat up once, but no one wants to turn him in to the cops.The ending is sad, too. Who knows what happens to the poor kid. For those interested, there are a couple of nice panty shots..You can't help feel very sorry for "Bone" though.

    Great movie that leaves you thinking.

    Definitely a movie that you have to see more than once. Very moving. You can really see how someone can grow up feeling bad about yourself because the only thing you did was be born out of wedlock. She came from a great family but her mother should have protected her.

    Excellent movie

    It's a great copy of the movie. Very clear and bright. I saw it years ago and wanted my husband to watch it. Some parts are disturbing but it's a lesson. Moms be careful please not all stepdads are great. Though some are good
