El presente libro muestra alternativas productivas ante los efectos del cambio climatico, que sufren sectores deprimidos en Bolivia, especificamente en comunidades campesinas del Municipio de Santivanez en Cochabamba. Existio interes de autoridades nacionales para que las alternativas planteadas en este libro puedan ser aplicadas en otras comunidades, ya que desde hace algunos anos Bolivia esta pasando por momentos complicados en el sector agropecuario, debido a los efectos del cambio climatico, ademas la carencia de informacion en alternativas de produccion, genero que la mayor parte de los productores campesinos dejen sus sembradios en busca de nuevas alternativas economicas, dejando como resultado que se deje de producir alimento y se encarezca el precio de la canasta familiar. El analisis de la situacion del potencial productivo en estas comunidades nos muestra que la mano de obra es en base a ancianos, ninos y mujeres, debido a la migracion, por lo cual se realizo una investigacion aplicada que brindo alternativas productivas para estos estratos sociales acorde a sus capacidades propias, respetando en cada momentos sus saberes ancestrales a traves del dialogo de saberes.
