But I did check for a serial number and the correct serial number was on the cable

I opened return case and sent item back to seller and it has been sitting at post office awaiting collection for four days. Numerous attempts to contact seller have been met with silence. Had to get ebay involved to get a refund. Dodgy seller. Do not recommend
