    One of the best printers ever...

    This is a replacement and a backup printer for the same one. (Canon MG5220). The software is easy to use, and very logical. You can scan something once and save it several times, including pdf. Paper loads from the back or bottom. I like the back load because I print a lot of cards and pictures, and it's just drop in the paper! The photo print is great too, and easy to use. I have upgraded to Canon's newer printers, but their upgraded software is not nearly as easy to use or as logical. I like the individual ink cartridges too. And I can use generic ink. 2-sided printing too. You don't always have to use all that is available in software, like, only what you need. The bad part of this printer was when it gave a B200 error and could not be fixed. But it is fast, quiet, ...

    i love this model canon and have had i560s units (2) which i wore out but the mg5220 evidently has planed obsole

    after about 20 pages printer started getting B200 error i cleaned printhead etc no luck I am on Lockdown In my 80,s otherwise I would have shopped for new printer. I have the same model I purchased new and its gone into the ink obsorber almost full almost full i separated the print unit from base and only the very small area of pads had ink i cleaned it up but cant get info on resetting the counter.

    An Ink Pig

    It works ok...but eats ink up like a dog eating a hamburger... My other one which was the same as this one DID NOT use that much ink... I have to order more, the last printer I ordered ink 1 time in 3 yrs.
