Although I am basically a Jesse Stone fan, the Sunny Randall character follows the same general patterns as does Stone. The book is a good read if you are at all into the Parker murder mysteries. Unfortunately the author has passed away and I'm afraid Jesse and Sunny are going to be left in limbo. Mr. Parker will be sadly missed.

  • Robert B. Parker is always a winner.

I haven't read any other Sunny books but I've read all the Spencer and Jesse Stone books and love them all. This one teams two of his characters and having both of them still hung up on Exes was interesting to play out. I have never not enjoyed a book by Robert Parker and don't think I ever will, he's just too good to write a bad book. It was a bit lighter than most of his books but there's nothing wrong with that. I can't say I liked the clients in this book but that's often the case. I really like Jesse Stone and his growth in each of the books. I'm not sure if this one was growth or more problems but it was interesting and added a new dimension. If you enjoy any of Parker's series books, you should feel right at home with this book and enjoy it. I won't tell you the plot, that's ...

  • A great title for the book.

I have been looking for this book for a couple of years and finally found it here on ebay. I hope this book is as good as the last books that I've read of Robert B. Parker's.
