Grief management book
I have a girlfriend whose beloved 38 year old husband recently passed away. I was talking to my Mom about losing a husband and she mentioned having lost a book that she was certain would help my friend. My father died 8 years ago very unexpectedly and someone had given "Will I Ever Be Whole Again" to her. She told me how VERY much this book helped her through such a horrible period and that of ALL the reading she had done, this book was, without question, the most helpful. I got online and found 2 - one for Mom and one for my girlfriend! Mom reread it immediately( she soaked it up again) and my friend found it as helpful as my Mom had. It is a very easy read, so it is not overwhelming during an already overwhelming time. So, although I have not personally read this book I highly ... Very Helpful Book
I lost my first husband very suddenly in 1999 and I obtained a copy of this book in early 2000. It was so helpful to me to read about someone else who had survived the loss of a spouse. I bought this most recent copy of the same book because I felt that since it was so comforting to me that it might be helpful for a co-worker who had recently lost her husband. The book is very well written and it gives help and encouragement for surviving that loss.
