    Great deal on a much needed item

    I have a HP Pavilion from 2011/2012 that came with 8GB of RAM. It's worked fine until about the fall of 2016. That's the 1st time I noticed that it was slowing down and age was starting to show it's face. I saw this RAM in passing and I knew my laptop has a max of 12GB. I received this pretty quick and installation was a piece of cake. After restarting my laptop, I immediately noticed the speed increase. So happy camper.

    Just What i needed

    So back then at best buy i ordered 2 pcs 8gb ram at a speed of 1600mhz 16gb oh too high for this laptop so i ordered this one works great at 1333mhz and one with 1600mhz oh the kick of this system is that the higher one will be forced to slow down at 1333mhz so they are now both clocked at 1333mhz at 16gb. used in macbook pro early 2011.

    Not much can be said about memory. It either works or it doesn't. I bought two of these to ugrade a laptop from 4GB to 16GB. The new devices went in easily and worked just as expected.
