I think the book could of been more interesting by using more rustic things, but the book itself is in nice shape and I had a good read. thank you

Garden Junk was all that I hoped it would be. As a fan of Mary Randolph Carter and owner of American Junk, Kitchen Junk, and Big City Junk, why not include a little outdoors? Carter never disappoints as she so cleverly arranges and exposes the common thread of our lives, "junk". The great thing about all of Carter's writings, including the most recent, "Never Stop To Think...Do I Have a Place for This?", is the ability to inspire and motivate one to take a look around you and use what you have. Read a little here, a little there, no matter what, you will be glad you did!
Inspiring book. Creative ideas for repurposing found and treasured objects as yard art or alternate uses in or out of the house. I enjoyed it!

This book has great photographs - and that's about it. It doesn't have much at all in the way of "how-to" or DIY projects. The text of the book is an agonizing diary of her trips, what she bought, where she bought it and how much she paid for it. I only rate it below average rather than poor because of the photography which the does give me inspiration and ideas for using some of my "junk". So if you're looking for a pretty coffee table conversation piece this is the book for you, otherwise save your money for next weekends yard sale.
Love this author.
