    Good light use blower.

This blower works as expected. Powerful enough for the designed use. I like that it light in weight making it easy to use. Some may consider battery life to be short, but with a 5 ah battery, it's acceptable.

a shop dust blower, not a leaf blower

So, I purchased this as a leaf blower...its not! unless maybe you have a tiny yard in town that the grass is cut every week, and thus the leaves do not get stuck in the grass; then it might work ok for that. What is it, really? it is shop tool to blow dust; it is a garage blower so you don't have to sweep; it is blower to blow back debri so you can lay a tile or laminate floor; it can be used as a blower for things like blowing the super tiny leaves from your blueberry bushes off of the mulch without disturbing the mulch too much. In all those cases, it worked well, and I would recommend it. But not for what it is advertised to do; its really not a leaf blower, so just go buy the $200 makita. This one is very very small, like a kids toy in size. But it does work well for the things listed above, so I kept it anyhow. I did try the suction mode (in reverse) to see if I could vacuum up some bees from the front of my hive. I thought it could make a good vacuum to catch swarms of bees, but none of the bees made it through alive; ahh! So, just a shop dust blower, not a leaf blower.

  • A Must Have

It's a Great item to have, small & Powerful, it's a Quick Draw I use it daily especially with Fall Season blow of the leaves from the front door & car windshield where vent trap normal gets clogged. However the advertisement stated that it came with the battery and a battery charger it did not. It was packed in the box loosely & no manual. But hey it's a Makita.

  • Great little blower

Very lite and easy to use for the ladies and yet, has enough power to do the job

  • Great blower

Great blower. Have original model and got this one to use at another location instead of hauling back and forth. Slightly different from original model but not much. Both of them blow a lot for such a compact unit. Variable speed is very handy to not make a bigger mess.

  • Good for a small blower

Small, compact and relatively powerful. Good for small jobs. Battery works for most small jobs Negative side ? The Rubber tube (nozzle) that is attached to the front will NOT stay attached. Had to tape it in place. Doesn't fall off anymore now that I taped it together. Not exactly what I would expect from Makita, but it was very inexpensive, so well worth the purchase. Everything I own is Makita, and I'm glad I purchased it.

  • good product for the money

It is a good product for the money the only thing I don't like is the trigger pull is also the speed control, very hard to hold in one place.

  • Another great Makita tool

Have other Makita tools and needed a blower. All my other tools by Makita have worked great (even the one I dropped in a pond) 18v Batteries have worked for years.
