My order arrived today, i needed to use this to step up from a 12 volt battery bank to 18 volts to run a small ipod speaker systemtheat needed a 18 volt dc supply. The bad thing is this dc to dc buck converter did not work. For the cost i thought it would do the job. Even with the load of the ipod speaker disconnected all i got was the input voltage and could not adjust the output in any way. Most disappointed !!

in my description OK, there is a little trick to it: the potentiometers aren't always tuned out of the box; essentially, you have to do a huge amount of turns until the potentiometer engages. once it engages in voltage and starts changing, it should be good to go Sometimes you may have to do this in both directions until it starts changing voltage, sort of like bleeding breaks for a car all the way left-hand side or the way right-hand side Once it starts engaging, proceed to then adjust voltage

Does what it says but can’t connect to 12VDC source and power iPhone with it. iPhone blocks connection. Tried with 12V cigarette lighter socket -> USB connector -> iPhone and that works great. Can’t get iPhone charging going with this dc-dc converter.

Great little item, fast postage and good packaging. Tested already 18volt in and 12volt out after some adjustment. Extremely happy. Recommended seller. ++++++
