  • Sometimes needlessly overcomplicated

I have played through this version and through Tropico 5, and I like 5 a lot more. The graphics in Tropico 3 are far more detailed and you can zoom in and out farther and pan the camera much more, which is great, but it sacrifices in game performance. It felt like it was saving and buffering graphics every 5 minutes of gameplay. The build menus don't contain as much detail as in the newer versions of the game and the difficulty levels, even set to the lowest, are still pretty fierce. The time dilation settings don't move you that fast or maybe the game just makes building anything take a long time, a lot longer than in other versions of the game. It's still a decent game, and the one that got me interested in the series, but I do like other versions more than this one.

  • Fun to play easy to learn.

Fun to play learning is easy. You learn how a goverment works. It is a sim type game. It does take time to catch how the game runs like how the money you get and people in the game do things. It take lots of time to learn. But still fun.
